Addiction
Do you have a loved one that struggles with addiction? Refuses treatment? Has chronic relapses? Is on the verge of death? Has tried everything possible and nothing is working?
Alternative Treatments for Addiction
Alternative Treatment Approaches may include Harm Reduction, Medically Assisted Treatment, Psychotherapies, Holistic Healthcare options, and various New Age Healing Methods. Each person is at a different place within their life path, and one path is not fitting for all. Increasing the options for treatment means increasing the chances that our loved ones will survive & overcome their addictions.
Harm reduction is an approach that decreases risk for people who are not at the point in their journey to be in complete abstinence. Recovery is a process and many times it is a process that deals with severe trauma, emotional pain, and unconscious patterns. The process is like peeling back layers of a spiritual, mental, & emotional onion. It is a process that has stages, downward trajectories, turning points and sometimes during this journey the pain is too much for people to stop the behavior at that time. This is where harm reduction approaches can assist in decreasing the risk of darker trajectories and increase the chances of life, recovery, and service. Harm reduction can be things such as needle exchange programs, safe use sites, widespread administration of Narcan - overdose reversal, medically assisted treatment, free HIV & Hep C testing, STD testing, free condoms, contraceptives, birth control implants, domestic violence protection, protective orders, shelters, harm reduction peer support groups, and various other non-abstinence holistic approaches.

I have been in recovery since August 2, 2017. Faced with destruction of body, mind, and spirit I turned from the life I was living to embark on a brand new spiritual journey into abstinence. In 2020 I was introduced to a plant medicine called Sananga, which I was weary to try due to the delicate nature of addiction and use of any outside substances. I was reassured by my spiritual sister that it was not psychoactive and would actually treat addiction and attachment issues. So I gave it a try. Since then I have been working with the medicine regularly and I thoroughly believe in the transformation and assistance it can provide for people with addictions. It works with the energetics of the body, mind & spirit to clear blocks & the inability to move forward.
I purely feel that the Spirit has guided me to share this blessing.
I know what it feels like to have loved ones that are not responding to any help to get over their addictions. My family members have dealt with addiction for many many years. The devastating wake of destruction it leaves on the surrounding people is heartbreaking. I know because I’ve been there. Self medicating the pain of watching my loved ones suffer, as well as having no emotional support or safety while in a family that was spiritually sick with no support to give me. I don’t say this to bash my family in any way, because I know they didn’t have the energy or spiritual resources to be there in the way I needed. They had bigger things to take care of—children that were left orphaned due to their parent’s addiction, coping with the devastation of fractured dreams, coping with physical & emotional pain, struggling to make ends meet, trying not to loose their house, careers, or marriage, and sitting in the middle of a brokedown palace—searching for everything outside to fill the void that is only satiated by spiritual particles. They always told me they knew I would be okay, that I didn’t need their help. I wasn’t okay, but I would be okay. And in this process of loneliness, it gave me the wings to rise up on my own, with the help of my Spiritual Family.
So I understand the pain of being both an addict/alcoholic and being affected by people in addiction. That is why I feel led to provide this service to those who are still desperately trying to find a way to serenity and who are not responding to traditional treatment methods. The Spirit wants to heal & help this world and is bringing workers like me and of all kinds to be on this mission.
