Top down or Bottom up perspectives

Life is all about the way we perceive and interpret the things that happen in life. This is why it is important to understand & be aware of top down or bottom up perspectives.

Bottom up perspectives carry heavy densities because they are rooted in shame, fear, guilt, and punishment —these dense beliefs are often the mentalities that keep us spiraling in and out of the behaviors we are trying to stop. I believe this is one reason why many spiritual paths emphasized the importance of confession & then forgiveness because they understood that to decrease harmful behaviors we cannot live with density and shame. Many psychology professionals call this the shame spiral. With the internal implosion of shame & guilt, we get locked into repeated cycles and low vibrations which cause us to seek out a source to fill our void. I believe one of the antidotes is to stop putting heavy judgements or labels on ourselves, taking it for what it is, consciously acknowledging the behavior, earnestly asking Spirit to help us, and not judging or shaming ourselves in the process. I’ve personally seen behaviors disappear by using this technique. The higher frequency you can get your heart and mind into, the less likely you will keep doing that behavior. Judgement and fear lowers our frequency, but love and acceptance raise it. So love and accept where you are, and ask Spirit for help.

Another aspect of bottom up perspectives is the faulty old belief that God or life is doing this to punish you. That you are not worthy, you deserve to be in pain, you are dirty, broken, and damaged, that you did something wrong, that you are unforgivable, unlovable and that you don’t need the Spirit. This programming has been passed down through other hurting souls stuck within this attitude, continually perpetuating the negative frequencies of fear, shame & guilt.

Many people who have experienced severe trauma or difficult life experiences run from God/Spirit/Source because they feel punished, placed in hell, or like they did something wrong to deserve this bad life. This condemning perspective rarely seems helpful and often turns people away from Spirit for large parts of their life. As it is true that every action holds “good or bad” karma and there is justice within this universe, we still don’t need to hold onto this rigid belief system to move into higher states of conscious living. Because with higher states of consciousness, these old ways of harming others will begin to dissolve naturally.

Now, I want to explain top down perspectives, take it or leave it as it resonates with you, but ask yourself— how would I feel if it were true? The top down perspective is a perspective that sees spiritual beings incarnated into physical bodies on Earth as actually coming from the higher spiritual realms. This perspective sees our spirits as whole, coming from the higher heavenly dimensions, as angels —stuck into forgetful 3D bodies.
This top down view sees that before we came here— God/Source & our Angelic Spirit Guides helped us decide which lessons we wanted to learn, what purposes we wanted or agreed to work on, and what family lineages we would agree to heal, break cycles and ascend.

In this view it puts the power into our hands. It diminishes the powerless victim mentality—the one that blames life, God & all its people for ruining it for them. It helps us to realize that WE CHOSE these difficulties —to learn, to be of service to the world, to fight spiritual battles, to raise the frequency of the Earth and progress evolution. Essentially, we are like angels who agreed to come here to help heal the planet and the family that we are in. We came to transcend and ascend the difficult blockages and impediments for forward movement & evolution.

Now, another concept within this perspective is that yes karma is a factor and within the 3 dimensional timeline of ancestral - genetic lines, people and souls may be under karmic bondage. However, this is still in the 3D timeline and YOU exist multidimensionally.

Choosing a 5th dimensional perspective would mean choosing to believe in your whole, angelic spirit self - the one who came to transcend darkness within the 3D, raise the frequency of your body, upgrade your genetic lineage, remember who you are, activate your light codes, progress your ancestral timeline evolution, break free from toxic cycles, produce new trajectories and most importantly find your true purpose.

This can be an intense notion—but think about it over some time and you will begin to feel lighter about life, your whole perspective on things will change and you will see the lessons with greater clarity. For me, this perspective came in as an insight when I was a teenager and this view has thoroughly helped me to stay positive, looking for the meaning, purpose, and mission to all my difficulties in this life.

The Sri Yantra symbol (pictured below) brings these two concepts into a multidimensional picture in which the two perspectives overlap and interact with each other. And within this complicated life, we can appreciate the beauty of these intersecting perspectives which make life so colorful, painful, beautifully broken and experiential. The very thing, believe it or not, that we asked for before coming here.
